Hi! I’m a sixth year Economics PhD candidate at the George Washington University and am on the job market for 2026-27. My research interests lie in the fields of Public, Political Economy, Development and Environmental Economics. I am funded by the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy’s C. Lowell Harriss Dissertation Fellowship for the year 2026-27.

One strand of my research is focused on studying policies that help local governments strengthen their fiscal capacity. I am particularly interested in the interactions of these policies with the political economy of the state and the heterogenous impacts they have on households and firms. In another strand of my research, I am interested in studying the people that work within governments and the ways in which they shape outcomes.

Prior to starting the PhD, I was a Research Associate at CAFRAL. I spent the summer of 2025 as a consultant at the IFC and the summer of 2022 as a Research Associate at the University of Chicago’s Urban Labs.
